COOKIES

We use cookies from Google Analytics, GDPR, Stripe, Paypal, Youtube, Vimeo and WordPress own cookies.

WHAT IS A COOKIE?

Cookies is a text-based data file that a web server requests to save on the user’s computer. It gives the web server text information about how the user is browsing. The information stored by the cookie is always anonymous and lacks personal information.

There are three types of cookies: permanent cookies, temporary cookies and third party cookies. Permanent cookies are stored on your computer or on your mobile for a long period of time. They have a preset date and are deleted when the date is valid. They can be stored no longer than 24 months.  Temporary cookies are temporarily stored on your computer or on the mobile while you visit a website. They are erased as soon as you close the page. Third party cookies come, just as the name suggests, from a website other than the one who placed the cookie in the user’s computer. This type of cookie aims to collect statistics about visitors’ activity online.

Examples of how we use cookies

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
